Optimalization of Audio Reproduction Chain for Hearing Tests
Halaš, Rostislav ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This project describes basic steps leading to the solution of a problem associated with a poor quality of played recordings in the listening room of the Škoda Auto co. . Firstly, the main technical parameters of the reproduction chain elements are resumed. Secondly, the basics of the room acoustics, such as the distribution of the sound field in a bordered space, are explained. On the basis of theoretical relations, the main modes of a cubic room are calculated. Then, software for acoustic response computing is used to simulate various options of both room idealization (room size, absorption coefficient, etc.) and listening point location. Simulations are compared with results gained by measurement. On the basis of this measurement, the quality of acoustics of the listening room is evaluated. In next chapters, the process of the optimalization of the audio chain and setup of the Automotive Sound Quality software are summarized. To conclude, the results are assessed and further steps based on the project are proposed.

Title: The analysis of speed of set by top volleyball players. Objectives: The aim of this work is a comparison between top world teams and a Czech national team in a speed of set, frequency of set to the volleyball zone's IV and II and in a success of an attack. Methods: The observe complex, which we compared is made by four top world volleyball teams (Brazil, Italy, USA and Russia) and by a Czech national team. We analyzed five matches by each team. In the results we can find out teams up to top 30 by ranking of FIVB. As an information source to how they play in speed of set, we used these teams. To get results we used indirect watching method by using a program Dartfish. To get results of a speed we needed a distance between two players (setter and attacker) which we get from the table of zones we created and time we timed by mentioned program. Results: The results are summarized in a clearly tables. The comparison of a speed set is divided from each zone of a court (table of zone which we made) into the volleyball zone IV and II. We find out that the speed of set from particular zones into the zone IV and II is not varied. The big difference in the results was the frequency of set and its opportunity of attack after quick set. Keywords: Volleyball, set, speed of set, frequency of set, success...

Ulč, Jan ; Buchtel, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Vorálek, Rostislav (referee)
In this work we have tried to make analysis of specialized activity of setter's sets. Our research observed five setters from the best european club competitions- Michal Sládeček, Raphael Vieira de Oliveiro, Lukasz Zygadl, Sergey Grankyn and Simon Fischer. The analysis of their game performance in six Champion League matches 2009/2010 was focused on quality of the set, its frequency into particular directions and kind of the set from two different qualities of reception. We also concentrated on laying-out of sets and their qualities until the first sequence. For gathering objective information we used a method of indirect observation. We also had video recordings of all six chosen Champion League matches 2009/2010.Conclusions and results of the thesis could be used during the training process, mainly to improve game activities of an individual. In concrete terms we focused on the position of a setter who works as a prolonged hand of a trainer and is influenced by his commands from the point of view of tactics. This work could refer to the right and tactical laying-out of sets in matches and importance of quality of the set. Creating the metodology for recording and evaluation of the set which is dependent on the previous reception helped us evaluate the individual game performance of the setters in their...
